To advance industry-education integration and bridge theoretical learning with real-world practice, SAU International Education College recently organized economics and management international students to attend enterprise study tours. The activity aimed to broaden students’ industrial vision and enhance their practical capabilities in international trade.
The students were split into two groups to explore intelligent manufacturing foreign trade and cross-border trade in free trade zones.
Led by Professor Sun Ning, one group visited Yuanda Brilliant Elevator. The students learned about the enterprise’s global layout, overseas expansion strategies, import and export procedures, and international cooperation models, gaining a full picture of foreign trade operations in the high-end manufacturing industry.
The other group, led by Professor Zhang Bo, visited Shenyang Pilot Free Trade Zone Investment and Development Co., Ltd. They studied free trade zone policies, cross-border e-commerce operations, Sino-foreign trade docking and export-oriented industry development, and updated their understanding of industrial trends and talent demands for international business roles.
Enterprise specialists introduced core businesses, competitive strengths and industry prospects. Combining professional knowledge, students actively discussed practical trade difficulties, industrial opportunities and cross-border market differences. They also shared market insights from their home countries, creating a dynamic international learning atmosphere.
This tour is a key practical teaching initiative for cultivating high-quality international talents. It effectively helps students integrate theory with practice, consolidate professional knowledge and clarify career directions, greatly improving their comprehensive competence in foreign trade practices.
Going forward, our university will continue to build high-quality university-enterprise practice platforms and carry out regular field study activities, to cultivate practical, competitive and international talents in economics and management.
