To improve international students’ practical proficiency in learning Chinese language, and broaden their paths for academic study and career development in the future, SAU hosted the inaugural "Voice of SAU, Languages Across the World" Chinese Language Talent Competition on April 29. The competition venue was filled with a warm and lively atmosphere. Though with exotic accents, the participants expressed sincere passion for the Chinese language and traditional Chinese culture.

A total of 16 performances were presented, categorized into three sections, including poetry recitation, themed speeches, and Chinese song singing. The 9 poetry recitations were elegant and heartfelt, fully demonstrating the rhythmic beauty of Chinese phonology.

The 2 themed speeches were authentic and unique in perspective, where students shared touching moments of their life in China and insights into cross-cultural integration.

The 5 Chinese songs featured diverse styles and youthful vitality. Interpretations of both classic and popular Chinese songs won rounds of applause from the audience.
