2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia and the launch of the “Year of Chinese and Russian Culture.” To promote cultural exchange and mutual learning, Shenyang Aerospace University (SAU) organized the Research Camp. Based on the university's years of experience in carrying out short-term projects in China, the study camp focuses on professional courses, supplemented by activities such as enterprise visits, Chinese language learning, and immersive cultural experiences, aiming to attract foreign teachers and students to understand contemporary China and explore the core driving force of technological innovation to promote future development.

On December 5, 2024, SAU welcomed 11 teachers and students from the MAI for a two-week research trip. As the saying goes, “Seeing is believing.” The students from MAI engaged in activities such as learning artificial intelligence, visiting Shenyang historical tourist places and famous enterprises. These activities provided them with a deeper understanding of China’s rapid technological development. At the same time, they also participated in extensive academic exchanges with our faculty and students, engaging in insightful discussions on artificial intelligence and cutting-edge technologies, which further deepened their understanding of China’s technological innovations. Through these interactions, the students not only acquired professional knowledge but also experienced China’s leading position in high-tech industries firsthand.

SAU will take this opportunity to strengthen its cooperation with international partner schools, building a bridge for mutual learning and friendly exchanges, and through the interactions between Chinese and foreign teachers and students, showcase a comprehensive, authentic, and multi-dimensional view of contemporary China.
