On October 29, IEC buzzed with excitement as international students gathered for a competition of science projects. The event was a showcase of innovation and creativity and dozen of groups were eager to present their groundbreaking projects. Mr. Lv Shannan, Deputy Dean of IEC, along with other distinguished supervisors, was present to judge the innovative entries.
This event marked the preliminary round of the 2024 3rd Liaoning Innovation Competition, setting the stage for future rounds.With the rigorous approach of their mentors, the participants meticulously prepared their projects, refining their business strategies and ideas to perfection.
The atmosphere was electric as students demonstrated their projects, ranging from cutting-edge technological solutions to creative engineering designs. The students’ projects reflected a remarkable blend of ingenuity and technical prowess, highlighting the diverse talents within the university’s international community. The judges were thoroughly impressed by the level of innovation and the potential impact of the projects presented.
After their projects and ideas received a coveted seal of approval from the discerning board of judges in SAU, the selected students were granted the opportunity to showcase their entrepreneurial ventures in the provincial competition, which was held online on 23th November, 2024. This intercollegiate contest within Liaoning Province allowed these young entrepreneurs to reach a broader participants and more potential opportunities and challenges. They also made achievements in the second round contest: two silver awards and three bronze awards.
The competition not only provided a platform for students to showcase their talents but also fostered a sense of community and collaboration among the participants. SAUIEC continues to support and encourage its students in their pursuit of excellence, making events like these a cornerstone of its commitment to fostering innovation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
