In a proactive effort to enhance campus safety and emergency preparedness, IEC, in collaboration with the security department, conducted a campus safety lecture and fire drill on November 13, 2024. This initiative was designed to equip students with vital knowledge and skills for handling fire emergencies effectively.

Experienced fire instructors led an informative lecture focusing on essential fire safety principles, emphasizing the importance of quick thinking, calm evacuation, and adherence to established protocols during a fire. Students received detailed instructions on key evacuation procedures, including the need to remain calm and follow designated routes.

A comprehensive fire drill followed, allowing students to engage in hands-on fire safety exercises. Under careful supervision, they learned how to operate a fire extinguisher and practiced extinguishing a controlled fire. This practical approach provided invaluable experience in fire suppression methods and safety measures.

The well-coordinated event concluded successfully, with students expressing greater confidence and awareness about fire safety. IEC remains dedicated to fostering a secure campus environment for all students, faculty, and staff.
