During this summer vacation, groups of enthusiastic IEC students have been working on several technology competitions that showcase innovation and creativity. These competitions, which will take place in the fall semester, aim to bring together students from various cultural backgrounds to work collaboratively and develop technological solutions.
Since the beginning of August, these students have established several workshops and held seminars on product design, negotiation skills, project management, and intercultural communication skills. Experienced faculty advisors from related academic fields are guiding them, providing valuable insights and support throughout this phase.
Participants in the Intelligent Manufacturing and Scientific Innovation Competition are working on innovative projects that integrate original ideas into daily applications. For the Business Negotiation Competition, students are honing their negotiation skills by engaging in case studies and simulations. Additionally, students are learning new skills in intercultural communication while preparing for the Intercultural Competence Competition, which encourages them to navigate cultural differences effectively.
As these competitions approach, students are excited to demonstrate their projects. One student remarked, "The preparation for competitions is not only about winning but also about learning and growing in a multicultural environment. We appreciate that IEC provides us with a platform to practice here.”
