During this summer vacation, the energetic members of the Genxtra Club at IEC developed a Solar Mechanical Ventilator Machine designed to assist patients suffering from breathing failure. Powered by solar energy, this innovative device aims to support individuals in disaster zones or emergency situations where traditional ventilators may be damaged or unavailable.
The team, known as LEGENDS, worked tirelessly to bring their idea to life. They engaged in numerous discussions to devise a plan and spent countless hours for the mechanical assembly, electrical verification and testing. Despite facing several challenges and setbacks, the LEGENDS team persevered and ultimately succeeded in their endeavor.
This project significantly enhanced the students' understanding of selecting engineering materials, controlling mechanisms, and fostering teamwork. IEC is committed to supporting the development of global engineering talent, and Genxtra provides a dynamic platform for students to demonstrate their engineering passion. This initiative not only supports their academic growth but also equips them with valuable experience for their future careers.
