IEC Students Triumph in 2024 Chinese Collegiate Computing Competition

In a stunning showcase of ingenuity, IEC students participated in the 17th Chinese Collegiate Computing Competition (4C) from August 8th to 11th, 2024, organized by Southeast University in Nanjing. International students secured the third position in this national-level competition with the unwavering guidance of Prof. Guan Yunchong from the College of Computer Science. It was a prestigious event that brought together more than 1400 participants from over 300 universities in China, including more than 20 teams of international students from over 10 countries. All of the chosen participants earned the chance to present their ventures at this national-level competition only after their projects garnered the approval of the provincial judges.

This competition featured a remarkable variety of inventive projects and entrepreneurial concepts. These initiatives were the result of international students’ meticulous development, who were mentored by their supervisors throughout the process.
