IEC held Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration

September 28th is the traditional Chinese festival - Mid-Autumn Festival, the international students of IEC, led by the Chinese teacher, made and tasted mooncakes, crafted lanterns together, and spent an unforgettable festival in pleasant.


On this festive day, the International Education College organized a series of activities to promote cultural exchange and enhance the sense of belonging among international students. The event began with a demonstration on how to make traditional mooncakes. With the guidance of experienced teachers, the students learned the techniques of kneading dough, making fillings, and shaping the mooncakes. They eagerly participated in the process, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm.




Following the mooncake making session, the students gathered to create beautiful paper lanterns. Under the guidance of teachers, they carefully cut and folded colorful paper into various shapes and designs. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and excitement as the students showcased their artistic talents and exchanged ideas with each other.







The highlight of the event was the group photo session, where all the participants came together to capture the joyful moments. With smiles on their faces, the international students posed with their handmade mooncakes and lanterns, creating a vibrant and memorable scene.

The celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival not only allowed international students to experience Chinese traditions, but also provided an opportunity for cultural exchange and friendship building.
