New International Students Share Their Experiences in SAU

Following  the beginning of the semester, a great number of International students are back to China to study of which a lot of them are new students. Some of these new students have reported feeling welcomed and finding comfort in the culture and environment of IEC, SAU. They have also highlighted how the unique teaching style of SAU has been beneficial for their learning experience. So, lets meet some new faces here.


卢胜

BUZIKOV, a master student from Russia, said the university has been very accommodating. He shared his experience with the returning and expressing his delight in being able to return to his on-campus studies. He was welcomed warmly upon his arrival, and his needs were taken into account by the university. Upon entering the campus, he described it as spacious and well-equipped with restaurants, markets, hair salons, and other pleasant areas. He also noted the presence of aircraft, monuments, and animals around the campus.

YASMIN expresses her satisfaction with the varieties of disciplines offered in SAU like science, management and liberal arts. “The campus boasts impressive labs and amenities, such as a library, theater, sports arena, swimming pool, student activity centers, hospital, accommodations and dining halls. There is also an Aircraft Maintenance Centre approved by the China Civil Aviation Authority which allows students to practice on 30 aircrafts”, she added. She takes pride in being a student at this great university and prepares to start her academic career with respect to her discipline.

ALEXANDER, a maters student in mechanical engineering, described his  journey to China and to SAU as a dream come true. He arrived in Shenyang after studying online for two years and was impressed by the grand scale of the buildings in SAU. He also added that the student dormitory has all the necessary amenities. He is very excited about the new semester.

DJIGUEMDE, a student from Burkina Faso spoke about his journey from his home country to China, expressing both his excitement and concerns. He talked about how he is gradually adjusting to Shenyang's chilly climate. He expressed his satisfaction and remarked on the pleasant aspects of Shenyang Aerospace University, commending the staff for making it feel like home.

Returning to Shenyang Aerospace University (SAU) after almost two years of remote learning was a welcome change. Everyone is back in-person and the dynamic of the campus has changed for the better, with in-person learning beneficial both socially and intellectually. The best part is being able to explore Chinese culture and hospitality while also taking advantage of the various support networks and clubs at SAU.
