Since the beginning of the semester, the international students from all over the world gradually returned to campus. Student Administration Office of IEC organized a series of activities —the “First lesson of new semester” from 24th February to 3rd March, targeting the newcomers from different countries.

At the beginning of the new semester briefing, deputy dean of students’ administration, Yin Dawei and deputy dean of academic affairs Associate Professor Dr. Qi Han welcomed all the students. Mr. Michael Wang, head of Student Administration Office and Stephen Sun, tutor of Mechatronics Engineering and master’s students introduced the university rules, immigration regulations and societies on campus on 24th February and 3rd March respectively. With an understanding of the related laws and regulations, the international students are expected to know how to lead a meaningful life on campus.

Led by tutors and senior students, international students paid a visit to Liaoning General Aviation Academy (LGAA) and the Key Laboratories of SAU on 1st March. With excitement, they observed the 1st two-seater Electric Aircraft (RX-1E), and the latest generic aircrafts and technologies there. Being encouraged and inspired by the latest development and progress of the UAVs, the newcomers are confidently prepared to embark on the journey of “study in SAU”.
