1. The Imperial Palace

The imperial Palace is the only existing royal palace in China outside of the Forbidden City in Beijing. The palace consists of more than 300 rooms, formed around 20 courtyards. It is very suitable to visit with friends during the weekend, see various scenes and sites around. This is a must visit kind of place!

How to get there

Take subway line 2 and transfer to subway line 1 at QINGNIANDAJIE stop. Get off at Huaiyuan Exit B. It is 10 minutes walk by foot from the subway to the final destination.

2.Beiling Park

Beiling Park (Zhaoling Tomb) is the largest park in Shenyang City. There are many historic buildings, pine trees and sight-full lakes. It is a highlight of China’s ancient architecture field as well as a typical representative to show the cultural exchange between Man and Han ethnic groups.
And of course, there are many fun activities to do including boat ride and roller coasters on a good day!

3. Liaoning Provincial Museum

TheLiaoning Provincial Museum, 辽宁省博物馆, Liáoníngshěng Bówùguǎn) is a prominent museum of history and fine arts located in Shenyang.

4. Shenyang Zhongshan square

This square serves as the centerpiece of downtown Shenyang. A massive fiberglass statue of Chairman Mao. It always nice to take a picture, especially on a sunny day.

5. Shenyang Fantawild World

Shenyang Fangte Happy World is located on Shengjing Street, 20 kilometers outside of Shenyang. It is made up of fifteen themed zones, including: Exceeding Limits, Interplanetary Flights, Dinosaur Danger, Film stunt studio, Light of Life, Hailuo Bay, Cosmic Expo, Liaozhai, Cosmic Warrior, Bute Show, Fireball, Mystic Valley, Mount Vesuvius, Joyland, and is a large-scale theme park. The main amusement facilities in the scenic area are basically in the form of tourist cars. In addition, there are some 4D cinemas.

6. Qipan Mountains

Qipan Mountain is located approximately 30 km northeast of downtown Shenyang. The natural scenery is absolutely beautiful. At Qipan Mountain, you can experience a variety of recreational activities including mountain climbing, paintballing, and mountain sliding. During winter, Qipan Mountain becomes a world of ice and snow. Come admire the ice sculptures and play in the snow. In addition to the natural scenery, come appreciate the cultural landscape in the scenic area, such as the Guandong Film & TV Town.

7. Zhongjie Commercial Circle

Zhongjie Commercial Circle is one of the earliest knickers’ commercial streets in Northeast. The street is full of life. There are Chinese artifacts, glass vases, ancient pottery, bone china cutlery items and many more. The street is also known for having the tastiest barbecue. The night view is nice too.
