On November 30, 2021, SAU held an online meeting with Horn of Africa University (HAU) and discussed about student exchange and faculty training programs. Ms. Pearl Liu, Dean of International Education College attended meeting and exchanged ideas on potential programs with Mr. Mohamed Osman Abbasheikh, Rector of HAU.

Two parties expressed the interest in establishing partnership, joint educational program as well as joint scientific research.
