On November 27th, 2021, the thesis proposal defense for postgraduate students majored in Mechanical Engineering was held at the College of Mechatronics Engineering. On-campus students had an offline defense, whereas off-campus students had an online defense. Off-campus students presented through the Dingtalk online platform, while on-campus students were invited to the Mechanical Building at the Meeting room 406 for the defense. The defense was attended by all second-year post-graduate students, as well as their supervisors.
Students were given five minutes to deliver their proposed thesis, demonstrating related logic and the study’s anticipated outcomes. Students were instructed to break down their plans and respond to faculty members in the appropriate manner. Following a brief discussion, the appropriate supervisors signed the students’ thesis proposal reports for acceptance.
