As IEC continues to engage students in the "Listen, Ask and Learn" webinar-based program, another webinar was held on November 25th 2021. This webinar was on the topic: How to do research in business administration and Associate professor Tang Jinhuan was invited to impart knowledge on how to do research and how to write a research paper for different academic levels. She used her personal professional experiences in the field to help students understand better. This wasn’t restricted to the Business Administration students but it helped all students from different majors and fields.

Professor Tang started by giving requirements for one to start writing a research paper which she broke down into a 7-point, very detailed procedure, from how to choose a topic to the final draft of the research paper. Research papers help students improve their research, analysis and writing skills. Professor Tang went on to give introduce how students should gather information from different literature sources and where to find the information, giving examples like Google-scholar among many others. Professor Tang advised all the students to keep in touch with their supervisors during the paper writing period so as to get the necessary assistance on time because this helps eliminate the feeling of not being able to continue with the paper.
