On 1 April 2021, a delegation from Shenyang Huaxiang (SYHX) Company led by Ms. Zhou, Manager of Project Management embarked on a friendly visit to SAU which was aimed at recruiting international students for internship positions.

SYHX Company is a branch of Ningbo Huaxiang (NBHX) TRIM China Co. Ltd, and it is a certified company that specializes in the manufacture of automobile components for BMW, Audi and Daimler.

After receiving a tour of the university campus, they arrived at Friendship Villa where the internship interview was scheduled to take place. The students were first given a PowerPoint presentation to introduce the company and share their vision, and after that, they were interviewed one after the other.

In all, 9 students from Aeronautical and Mechanical Engineering majors took part in the interview.

The students were all prepared in advance with the relevant documents for their application, and they all attended the interview looking smartly dressed. They also showed confidence and passion for engineering as they answered the questions posed by the interviewers.  

This joint collaboration with SYHX Company to provide internship opportunities for international students is part of the effort by SAU-IEC to ensure that international students receive quality practical training to supplement the theoretical knowledge and get employment opportunities.
