On March 19, President Sun Xiaoping met Vice President Zhang Guochen from Dalian Ocean University and the delegation members.

President Sun welcomed the delegates and introduced the development of SAU history, development plan, international education and scientific research achievement. He said that the university had always attached great importance to international cooperation and exchange in the process of development, taking education internationalization as an important development strategy, and was willing to carry out in-depth and substantive exchanges and cooperation with universities at home and abroad.

Vice President Zhang briefed on the university disciplines, features and international exchange. He believed that the visit will enhance relationship and collaboration between two universities,

The two sides signed a memorandum of friendship and cooperation between in terms of international education, research as well as joint programs.

After the meeting, Prof. Richard Chen, Dean of International Education College, accompanied the guests to visit the aircraft exhibition garden, Liaoning General Aviation Academy, the library and the apartments of International Education College.
