SAU, MIT-ADT to Enhance Collaboration

On January 8, 2021, SAU held an online meeting with MIT Art, Design and Technology University (an Indian university, hereinafter referred to as MIT-ADT).

 

Prof. Pearl Liu, Executive Deputy Dean of International Education College, Prof. Wang Gongdong, Deputy Dean of Aerospace Faculty, Mr. Charles Lv, Deputy Dean of International Education College, and Prof. Qi Han, Director of International Education Teaching Center, College of Computer Science attended the meeting.

 

On behalf of MIT-ADT, Prof. Kishoare Ravande, Head of Institute and Dean, Faculty of Research and Innovation and Principal of School of Engineering gave a welcome speech and expressed his interest in collaboration with SAU. Prof. Rajneeshkaur (Sachdeo) Bedi, Dean Academic of MIT School of Engineering, Prof. Sunil Dingare, Head of Aerospace Engineering Department, MIT School of Engineering, Prof. Devabrata Sahoo and Prof. Rahul Makade also presented the online meeting and gave introduction to MIT-ADT.

 

Prof. Pearl Liu introduced the features and programs of SAU. “We hope joint programs will be started soon and we will have closer exchange and collaboration”, said Prof. Pearl Liu. She also welcomed MIT-ADT faculty to SAU for doctoral degree programs.

 

Prof, Kishoare Ravande raised some suggestions to initiate the relationship and both parties reached preliminary consensus on the discussions to realize common development.

 

Till now, SAU has dozens of Indian graduates and the establishing relation with MIT-ADT will herald new collaboration with Indian universities.
