On January 5, 2021, International Education College held a seminar and all staff joined after one-day discussion and analysis. The theme of the seminar was“to be the first-class international education in China by 2023”and each office made a report and explained their understanding of the target from admission, teaching, student administration, international exchange, apartment management as well as team development.

“We have internationalized our curriculum and we are bettering it to meet the students’ demands and keep pace with the latest trend”, said by the Head of Teaching Administration Office. The mission of SAU is to provide world standard education in order to be responsive to the global needs.

Other offices also gave some suggestions for our college and expressed their practical means to reach the objective.

Mr. Richard Chen, Dean of International Education College concluded the seminar and raised new requirements to all staff. According to the Shanghai Ranking (a leading research institution in university performance standard and assessment), SAU ranks No. 4 among all engineering Chinese universities. In the next 2 years, SAU will take the courageous step towards the first-class international education in China with our joint diligence, wisdom, innovation as well as unity.

After the seminar, “Excellent staff” and “Excellent office” awards were granted for encouraging the staff and office who had excellent performance and made great contribution to SAU in 2020.
