Chinese language program classes have adopted a new compulsory class— Chinese calligraphy and paintings. Ms Sun, the lecturer of Chinese language teaching office has introduced theories and history of traditional Chinese calligraphy and paintings, and directed students to practise. For language program students, this lecture is an intuitive way to experience Chinese culture and practise hand-writing of Chinese characters.
