On 4th March, the IEC management held a meeting at Friendship Villa. Dean Richard Chen started the meeting by giving an update on the current state of the epidemic. It is learned that the situation is becoming much better although the precautions are still needed.
Professor William Guan, the deputy dean of academic affairs gave an assurance that the online courses for all continuing students and the online make up exams for the eighth semester as well as the extended graduation students would be conducted as scheduled.
Ms. Maggie Yu, the director of admission office presented information concerning the prospective freshmen and their progress of visa applications.
It is advised that all the students who are currently outside SAU, especially those who have returned to their home countries, should wait for official notice from IEC concerning the exact reopening date before making their plans to return to SAU. It is important to maintain regular communication with the tutors for the latest updates.
