On December 13, Chinese department held HSK3, HSK4 and HSK 5 model tests. Around 60 students signed up for the exams.
Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), an international standardized test of Chinese language proficiency, assesses non-native Chinese speakers’ abilities in using the Chinese language in their daily, academic and professional lives. HSK consists of six levels, namely HSK (level I), HSK (level II), HSK (level III), HSK (level IV), HSK (level V), and HSK (level VI).
According to the regulations, international students who have started their program after September 2018 should achieve HSK (level IV) before they graduate, Chinese language department has arranged Chinese proficiency model tests to help the students to understand the format of the test. The model test used formerly test questions so that the students will know how to adjust themselves when they take the test.
If they passed the model test they will get a certificate from International Education College, SAU.
