On November 12th, 2019, the Kenya Alumni Association of SAU was established in Nairobi, Kenya. Mr. Richard Chen, Mr. Robert Pan and Mr. Samson Aketch, Director of Kenya Aeronautical College (KAC) attended the ceremony. At the meeting, Mr. Martin Chege was elected the Chairman and Mr. Gerald Njenga was elected the Secretary General of the association.
Mr. Richard Chen expressed his congratulations and forwarded the expectations from SAU. He also exchanged ideas about the degree recognition, internship, employment, further study in China, etc. with the graduates.
Mr. Samson expressed his best wishes to the association and he was happy to see many graduates from the 2+2 joint program are working in Kenyan aviation fields. In the future, KAC will focus more on the cooperation with SAU.
The alumni expressed their gratitude to SAU and greetings to the association, also introduced their internship and work in the companies.
The association provides a new home to help the alumni to have a better future. With the number of graduates increase, it will bridge the friendship and communication between SAU and the alumni.
