On 27th of October, SAU international students visited the 7th Ginkgo Festival in Liaoning University. In this misty weather, Liaoning University campus is decorated with excellent colour and charming environment by nature. Ginkgo is a plant which is registered as endangered species. During autumn, the leaves turn a bright yellow, then fall, sometimes within a short space of time (one to 15 days). The time is to show the beauty of nature. Leaves are changing colours every day and a certain kind of Chinese tree named Deciduous is spreading more beauty and color to nature. Moreover, combination of resistance to disease, insect-resistant wood and the ability to form aerial roots and sprouts makes ginkgos long-lived, with some specimens claimed to be more than 2,500 years old.

More than 40 students with lots of energy went to Liaoning University campus. Students were surprised by lots of people attending visiting the event. Since the autumn is here leaves were colourful and the place was looking extra vibrant. Although it was a short trip students enjoyed and captured a lot of beautiful moments. The tutors of IEC always seek for the chances to make more memorable events and moments with international talents from all over the world.

The activity is also one part of "Shenyang Tour" series activities to know Shenyang and Chinese culture.
