On 16th July 2019, a group of SAU students visited Shenyang Yuanda Intelligent group. The purpose of the visit was to introduce Shenyang Yuanda Intelligent Group to the students, give them a tour of the company and offer them an internship and job opportunity.
Located about 30km from SAU, the company covers an area of 480 thousand square meters and has many factories on its site. Shenyang Yuanda was established in September 2001, and has since then been committed to providing quality services to a wide range of customers including hotels, shopping malls, international airports, and high-rise living apartments. In 2012, the company earned the title of `The government’s most trustworthy brand for elevator procurement’ in China.
Upon arrival at the company, the international students were blown away by the aesthetic surroundings – the artificial pond, the shrubbery, the flock of geese and peacocks roaming the entrance of the visitor’s area, etc. – which is unique and speaks a lot about the company’s concern for the environment.
Shenyang YuanDa specializes in the design, manufacture, installation, and after-sales service of elevators and escalators. Its famous BLT brand of elevators are internationally approved with ISO9001:2008 Quality System Certification, ISO14001 Certification of Environment Management System and GB/T28001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification.
After touring the large visitors’ hallway, where many things were on display including working samples of the various BLT elevators which the company designs and manufactures, product spare parts, machinery, awards and trophies received for quality services offered by the company over the years etc., the international students proceeded to have a look at the product manufacturing process in three of the many factories within the company.
At the end of the visit, a meeting was held with the international students, where the HR manager expressed the company’s interest in establishing a long-term relationship with SAU through provision of internship opportunities. Interested students were given the opportunity to fill internship forms and submit their resumes online.
