In July 2019 SAU appointed 40 international students as representatives to open the world market for SAU electrical aircraft and drones(UAV). The electrical aircraft and UAV are designed and manufactured by Liaoning General Aviation Academy(LGAA) which was established by Shenyang Aerospace University.

The 40 students are from 18 countries and graduated this July. After 4 years studying at SAU, there is a close tie between students and SAU, and with the mutual trust and interest, both sides are willing to start the collaboration. SAU wishes to give a better chance for students to have a bright and better future, and students are dedicated to contributing to their university.

Liaoning General Aviation Academy (LGAA) was established in February 2011, relying on the independent legal person provincial government unit established by Shenyang Aerospace University. The academy is a joint, open and innovative research institution. It is developed with the new energy general-purpose aircraft as the traction, dedicated to the common core technology of general aviation aircraft, mastering independent intellectual property rights, and cultivating world-class general aviation talents. Now it has become an innovative platform for the synergy between universities, research institutes and enterprises that integrates government, industry, and research.
