On May 17, a career talk on foreigners’ entrepreneur visa policy was held at Shenyang Innovation World in Hunnan District, organized by Shenyang Industrial Transformation and Upgrading Promotion Centre, Division of Exit-Entry Administration of Public Security Bureau of Shenyang and Administrative Committee of Shenyang Area of China Pilot Free Trade Zone.

SAU was among the few universities invited. A group of students led by Miss Cindy from Teaching Administration Office attended the talk. The content of the talk was of great interest to the foreign students present since the biggest obstacle to their starting a life in China after graduation is the visa.

The establishment of the free trade zone in Shenyang, which is the only one in northeast China, brings opportunities to any foreign student who desires to start either their career or business in China.

Entrepreneurship visa and work permit will henceforth be easier to acquire for graduates who meet the requirements. One key point was that foreign students need to start the visa application early and cannot wait till after graduation.
