Fifty aeronautical students of IEC took a trip to Liaoning United-Air Shenyan Aircraft Company (LUSY) on January 11, 2019.

Our students here received a warm welcome from LUSY. The deputy manager Mr. Jerry gave us a general introduction of the development history of LUSY and patiently answered the questions from the class. Then the programs were as follows, students were divided into two groups. The first group attended a lecture by the engineers in the company, while the other group was guided for a tour around the factory and vice versa. The students deepened their theoretical knowledge as well as practical ability by this visit to LUSY.

LUSY was established in January, 2014. Its manufacturing headquarter is located in Chaihu general aviation industrial base of Faku-a county of Liaoning Province. LUSY is the first corporation in China that obtains the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) production license for import aircraft model manufacturing.

On November, 2014, LUSY formally made a comprehensive strategic cooperation with TECNAM which is a world-famous Italian aircraft manufacturer with 70-year history. LUSY successfully acquired the intellectual property rights of three advanced aircraft models--- P2006T, P2010 and P2008JC.
More internship and company visit chances will be arranged by SAU who has established partnership with enterprises home and abroad. Some of the students who did a great job during internship have been provided with a formal position the company.
