SAU postgraduate thesis supervisor selection and thesis proposal meeting was held on October 7, 2018 at the conference meeting room of Aerospace Engineering Building.

Six professors of the Aerospace Faculty, and two batches of postgraduates majoring in Aeronautical Engineering (March 2018 intake and September 2018 intake students), totaling 17 postgraduates from eight different countries.

The meeting started with a welcome speech of Prof. Wang Gongdong. Following his speech, other professors took turns to introduce themselves as well as giving a very comprehensive description of the research area and direction. This was the first part of the meeting. In the second half of the meeting 2018 September batch students put forward their thesis proposals to the professors for evaluation. Each student had about fifteen minutes to explain the proposal, after which the students answered questions and were expected to demonstrate an adequate understanding of the purpose of their research as well as their research methodology.
