In the morning of October 19, 2018, Ruixiang extended-range electric aircraft (RX1E-A) development and airworthiness report meeting and type certificate awarding ceremony were held in SAU. Ruixiang extended-range electric aircraft was awarded the type qualification certificate, which marks that China’s independently developed and airworthy new energy electric aircraft ranks the world leading level, and lays a new milestone for the development of China’s new energy general aircraft.

                           
Mr. Yin Shijun, chief engineer of China Civil Aviation Administration, Mr. Kong Fanwei, deputy director of the China Northeast Civil Aviation Administration, and Mr. Tan Xiaowei attended the meeting. Mr. Yang Fengtian,the chief scientist of Liaoning General Aviation Institute and Academician of China Engineering Academy was also invited.

                           
President Sun Xiaoping delivered a speech in the meeting and said SAU will make efforts to establish the leading manufacturing technology research base.
Electric aircraft is a new area and symbolizes the high-end technology development. RX1E-A represents China’s leading position in the light electric aircraft field.
