On August 3, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement between SAU and Fengcheng People’s Government was held at Fengcheng convention center. Prof. Wang Qi,Vice President of SAU, deans and relevant staff of the College of Design and Art, College of Energy and Environment, and the International Education College attended the event.
Mr.Zhao Hongxu, member of the Standing Committee of Fengcheng Municipal Party Committee, minister of the United Front Work Department, said the signing of this agreement will enhance cooperation and enable a sound cooperation in science and technology, personnel and information exchanges between the two sides. It is of great significance to promote the opening up of Fengcheng city, change the economic development mode, promote the technology upgrading of supercharger leading industry, and realize the construction of the world supercharger famous city. Zhao said Fengcheng will take this strategic cooperation as an opportunity to further optimize the development environment, improve service quality, create favorable conditions and achieve win-win results.
Prof. Wang Qi pointed out, in his speech, that in recent years, SAU has continuously deepened the integration of industry and education, and university-enterprise cooperation, and has made remarkable achievements in building its own characteristics in serving local development. He said the establishment of comprehensive strategic cooperation with Fengcheng Municipal People’s Government is an important measure for SAU to promote school-city cooperation, enhance the level of collaborative innovation and serve the transformation of industrial and economic structure. SAU will speed up the transformation and development, comprehensively improve the quality of personnel training and the ability to serve economic and social development, constantly enhance core competitiveness and social influence of SAU, and make due contributions to the local economic and social development.
Prof. Wang Qi and Minister Zhao Hongxu signed the strategic cooperation agreement on behalf of the two sides. Meanwhile, the College of Design and Art of SAU and the Vocational Education Center of Fengcheng city signed cooperation agreement on professional education. International Education College of SAU signed international students internship employment agreement with Fengcheng Times Dragon Supercharger manufacturing Co.,LTD and Fengcheng Wantong Machinery Manufacturing Co., LTD. More international students will be offered chance in different enterprises and different industry.
After the signing ceremony, Minister Zhao Hongxu accompanied Prof. Wang Qi and SAU delegation to Wantong Machinery Manufacturing Co., LTD for visit and research.
