On May 6, in order to make students experience Chinese culture in a better way, academics from Office of Chinese Teaching and Research organized international students to visit the Science and Technology Museum. 35 international students participated in the activity from Guinea, Nigeria, Congo, Bangladesh, South Korea and other 12 countries. Under the guidance of the academics, the students visited in great order to experience the endless charm of science.
During the tour, the students have understood the historical development of the northeast old industrial base, and experienced the “space walk”, “earthquake", and “crash experiment”. In addition, by “paper-making technique”, “airplane”, “spaceship”, the students also experienced the evolution of science and technology. Students not only understood the invention of Chinese “paper-making technique”, but also experienced the pleasure of fling an airplane.
Through this activity, the students went out of the classroom, fully felt Chinese culture and life outside books, and greatly stimulated the students’ interest and enthusiasm in learning Chinese.
