On 7 April, 2016, the awarding ceremony of Engineering Training Fundamental Innovation Contest was held in SAU Library. Awards such as National Computer Competition for Undergraduates and Engineering Training Fundamental Innovation Contest were presented during the ceremony. Prof. Cao Guoqiang, Director of Engineering Training Center attended the ceremony and presented the award.
Two international students namely Adam Mutaz Hussein Elnor and Ali Diaeldin Elfatih Eldaw worked together with Chinese students and made the entry named “Little Institutions” under the guidance of lecturer Yang Jingting, Ma Yuchao. The entry showed the perfect combination of the technology of 3D print with high precision cutting machine and finally won the first prize.
Prof. Cao indicated that competition was beneficial to cultivate the students’ interest in learning and improve comprehensive quality.
