On the morning of March 9, Vice President Lin Feng inspected IEC, accompanied by Prof. Chen Baopeng, Director of Admission and Employment Guidance Center, Prof. Wang Liyan, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs and representatives of other colleges. Prof. Henry Shi reported enrollment, teaching management, and overall objectives.

Vice President Lin Feng addressed the contribution of International Education to the development of the university. Then he conducted in-depth exchanges and discussion with all the representatives on the educational goals, mechanism, lecture training. He pointed out that international education was an important part of SAU overall development strategy, which was of great significance in improving social awareness and international influence, promoting cultural exchange, expanding teachers and students’ international perspective and promoting school education reform, etc.

There are approximately 1100 international students on campus now. On the basis of steady developing, IEC should enhance the curricula, strengthen the construction of the teaching staff as well as improve the quality of teaching. Meanwhile, we should vigorously promote international exchanges and cooperation in running schools projects.
