On 24 April, 2015, the delegation led by Mr. Tun Pheakdey, President of University of Management and Economics (UME), Cambodia visited SAU. Mr. Wang Qi, Vice President of SAU received the UME delegation and held a meeting.

In the meeting, Mr. Wang Qi extended his warm welcome to the delegation. Representatives from College of Economics and Management and Scientific research Department, SAU were also invited to attend the meeting. Both parties discussed about the potential to collaborate in economics and IT related majors, student and faculty exchange programs and China-led “Silk Road Economic Belt" and the "21st Century Maritime Silk Road” initiatives.

It was expressed that both parties would further enhance collaboration and provide more opportunities for students and faculty to exchange.
