Inauguration ceremony and welcome party held

On 21 November 2014, inauguration ceremony and welcome party for fall semester 2014 was held in blue sky theatre of SAU. 

The inauguration ceremony started with a welcome speech by Prof. Wang Qi, Vice-president of SAU. He extended his warm welcome to around 300 new students from 43 countries and encouraged them to cultivate and improve moral character, make efforts to academic in order to realize their dream.

Vice-president of Student Union Mr. Jonathan Putra Hartono also shared his experience during his stay in China and also gave some guidelines to new students.

The welcome party started with a warm welcoming song performed by all the International Education College staff. Students were surprised to see the office staff performing on the stage.

The event continued with back to back excellent performances by students like group dancing, singing, drama, etc. Some performances featured by Chinese characteristics such as playing the flute and calligraphy were also presented by international students. The event ended up with grand success and the credits goes to student union for their hard work.
