SAU visits four universities in Taiwan and strengthens cooperation
From September 22nd to 27th, a four-member delegation of SAU headed by President and academician Yang Fengtian went to visit four Taiwan universities including Ming Chuan University, Tunghai University, Chaoyang University of Technology and Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
The presidents of the four universities namely Prof. Li Quan, Prof. Tang Mingzhe, Prof. Zheng Daoming and Prof. Dai Qian, along with other members of their relevant departments have received SAU delegation.
During campus tour of the four universities, SAU members have not only visited the showroom of achievements in research and development, libraries and some of the laboratories, but also have held discussions on teaching and students management. Two parties have exchanged their views and experiences in academic quality, research and development of science and technology, as well as cooperation of school running in the future. SAU delegation has signed with Tunghai University letter of intend focused on academics and students exchange. Several cooperative agreements have also been signed with Ming Chuan University in regard to academics and students exchange as well as a MOU of 3+1+2 double master degree program.
During their stay in Taiwan, President Yang and SAU delegates have visited the SAU exchange student who is currently studying at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
