SAU President Yang Fengtian pays visit to universities in Taiwan

At the invitation of Prof. Li Quan, President of Mingchuan University and Prof. Tang Mingzhe, President of Tunghai University, President Yang Fengtian, member of China Academy of Engineering has visited the two universities in Taiwan as head of a SAU delegation.

On the afternoon of 22 September, in the meeting room of Northern Campus of Mingchuan University, the signing ceremony was solemnly held. Mingchuan University President Li Quan delivered an enthusiastic speech to welcome SAU members. He highly appreciated the feature and achievement of SAU in the past few years. He finally wished the collaboration between the two universities could lead to success. In the speech of President Yang Fengtian, he briefly introduced SAU and wished the cooperation between the two universities could succeed in all aspects. The two presidents have signed the cooperation agreement, as well as two MOU of “3+1” and “3+1+2”.

On the afternoon of 23 September, President Yang Fengtian visited Tunghai University located at Taizhong City. Presidents of two universities had a deepen conversation in regard to students and academics exchange, and to the education of Master degree students. After signing the cooperation agreement, President Yang Fengtian and SAU delegates visited some laboratories of Tunghai University. Both parties expressed their common wish to deepen their mutual understanding and tighten their cooperative relations through this visit.
