2014 Ceremony of Teacher’s Day
On September 10th, SAU held the ceremony in the blue sky theater to celebrate 2014 Teacher’s Day and to honor outstanding teachers. All members of the school leadership and more than 700 lecturers and students attended the meeting, hosted by Prof. Rui Xiaomiao, Executive Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.
First, Prof. Chen Baodong, Executive Vice President, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee read out the letter addressed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to all SAU lecturers and staff.
Vice President Lin Feng read out the name list of advanced groups and lecturers. University leaders presented awards to outstanding representatives.
Professor Hong Tao, a lecturer of provincial excellence delivered a speech on behalf of the outstanding lecturers. Gao Zhenhua, a student from Faculty of Aeronautical Engineering also made a speech to express thankfulness to lecturers.
Finally, Prof. Wang Wei, Secretary of the Party Committee of SAU delivered an important speech. He first extended his warmly congratulations to all lecturers and staffs rewarded. Then he put forward three hopes to all SAU staffs to carry out the core value of socialism, to improve them in professional skills and to live happily.
Two foreign lecturers of International Education College Ms. Shufen Chu and Ms. Irene Tumbaga were awarded outstanding ones during the ceremony.
