Pre-departure process for freshmen

In September more and more international students arrive at SAU for overseas study. To ensure the safety of arrival and convenience of study at SAU, we would like to give the following suggestions to our students.

Visa

International students must apply to the Chinese Embassy for Visa X.

The applicants presented to the embassy should include the following materials:

 a. Admission Notice issued by SAU;
 b. Visa Application for Foreigners to study in China (Form JW202);
 c. Physical Examination Record for Foreigners and and your blood test report.

Items for registration

Make sure to take all the original documents of the following items:

  a. Admission notice

 b. JW 202 form

 c. Valid passport

 d. eight passport-sized photographs.

  e. High school leaving certificate, academics transcripts

What to pack

Some suggests to bring to China:

 a. Clothing

Winter and summer clothes are both necessary. In winter the temperature is between minus 10 degree to Minus 20 degree. Warm clothes are needed when you stay outside while your room have air condition and warm enough. In summer the temperature is between 20 degree to 30 degree. T-shirts and skirts are necessary. 

 b. Electrical equipment

Electricity supply system in China is 220V. The plug and the socket may be incompatible so please check before departure. Multi-function power cords, transformers can solve the problem and you can prepare in advance.

Book room

SAU provides private room, single room and twin room. Students should contact admission office to book room two days before depart for China.

Inform arrival information

Students should inform admission office the arrival details include flight number, date and time of arrival at Shenyang two days before departure.

How much Money to bring

 a. Cost of living

It would cost 1000 to 1500 Yuan pe month for living include food, telephone, transportation etc.

Currency exchange service is available at Shenyang airport and the banks closed to SAU. At the first few days about 500 USD is necessary for daily use.

 b. Fee structure

The exchange rate is subject to the day you make payment.

Conditions of Payment

 a) SAU prospective students should transfer one year tuition fee before depart to China to SAU bank account.

 b) If SAU student secured visa and entered China but decided not to study in our university, they will forfeit the one year tuition fee they paid to us.

 c). If any of SAU student does not get a visa, their tuition fee will be refunded.

 When you transfer the money, please write down clearly that the money is for your  

 school fees or other fees. Your name should be written on it. 

II. Direction to arrival at SAU

Option I: Shenyang Airport pick up service  

         SAU provide free airport pick up service between 6 pm to 12 pm.

         Daytime airport pick up service charge 300 Yuan (around 50 USD)

Option II: Taking Taxi to SAU (around 150RMB)

Please show this to the taxi driver after you find a tidy-look taxi with a taximeter and an electronic screen on the inside back at Shenyang Taoxian International Airport.

2. For Taxi information

  a.Shenyang Taoxian Airport provides taxi stops at the exit of the terminal.

  b.Please take a taxi with official certification at the airport. Don’t forget your  

    belongings when getting off. 

  c.Please pay attention to the charge standards on the windows of the taxi, and  

the service supervision card of the taxi driver.
  d.Taxi fare from Shenyang Taoxian International Airport to Shenyang Aerospace

University is around 150 RMB.
  e.Road toll and bridge toll of 5 RMB will be afforded by passengers.
3.if you need airport pick up service from SAU, please make a order and send flight 

  details three days before your arrival.
