2014 SAU poem recitation contest concludes

On 21 May, 2014, SAU poem recitation contest, organized by Department of Publicity was successfully held in International Conference Hall and attracted contestants and audience from various colleges. 12 departments entered the finals. Entries of this contest expressed contestants’ appreciation to our nation, city and SAU.

On behalf of International Education College, three international students namely Muratbekov Daulet, Abraham Setiawan and Mulebeke Sandra Kaanyi and Mr. David Xu, an academic teaching Chinese participated in the contest with their entries called “Chinese dream coming true”, “Verse to the youth”, “Verse to peace” and “Friendship”. All the audience gave a big round of applause to the international students who recited poem in Chinese. IEC won the bronze prize of this contest.

The golden prize was awarded to College of Mechatronics and best organization prize to College of Foreign Languages.
