International Students Inauguration and Scholarship Award Ceremony Spring Semester, 2014 concludes

On 16 May 2014, the inauguration ceremony for new students and the scholarship ceremony for outstanding students were held by International Education College in the library. All the students were really looking forward to the joint ceremony.

Prof. Wang Qi, Vice President attended the ceremony and made a welcoming speech to all new students on behalf of SAU. The opening lecture was delivered by Prof. Devinder. K . Yadav. His speech was really inspiring for the new students and everyone was moved by his instructions on how to live a good and productive life in China.

(Scholarship students)

The ceremony proceeded in a well-timed manner. There were numerous prizes this time and the number of awardees for the prestigious scholarships also increased from last year, showing a strong and better performance by the students as compared to the previous year. First up were the athletes who got top positions in IEC sports meet and SAU sports meet. They were awarded with respective medals for their outstanding performance. This was followed by the progressive study scholarship. The progressive scholarship was presented to 37 students this time.

All the students were glad and thanked their teachers for giving them the chance to bring out their hidden talents. At the end the students proceeded for the pictures outside the library.
