A seminar on Chinese language teaching quality assessment held
On May 7, 2014, a seminar on Chinese language teaching quality assessment was held, organized by Office of Chinese Language Teaching and Research, IEC. Four Chinese language teaching experts were invited to this seminar and have discussions on the assessment criteria of Chinese language teaching.

Prof. Wang Qi, Vice President of SAU also attended this seminar and gave recognition to all Chinese language academics. “We should give more priority to the teaching materials and syllabus”, said Prof. Wang Qi.
Chinese language teaching experts also gave valuable suggestions for the development of Chinese language teaching. They believed that academics should encourage international students to take HSK (Chinese proficiency test) in order to improve their Chinese level. “Holding HSK certificate will also be a highlight when they look for job”, said one expert.
