On January 4th, 2014, SAU delegation visited Yemen and was met by Mr. Hisham Sharaf Abdalla, Minister of Higher Education& Scientific Research, Yemen. Mr. Richard Chen and Mr. Hisham Sharaf Abdalla had a talk about the joint efforts of enhancing cooperation with universities in Yemen and encouraging more Yemen students to study at SAU.

Currently there are more and more Yemen students who show their interest to study at SAU and two of the SAU students from Yemen enjoy the Chinese Government Scholarship for bachelor and master degree respectively.
SAU delegation visited the Chinese Embassy in Yemen and talked with the officer in the embassy as well.

During the stay in Yemen, SAU delegation also met the representatives of SAU in Yemen who will continue to work hard to let more Yemen students know China and SAU.
With more and more Yemen students come to China and SAU, SAU will enhance to cooperate with the Yemen government and universities to give more chances for Yemen students to study abroad.
