Shenyang King Sejong Institute inauguration ceremony was held in SAU on Sep.9, 2013, which symbolizing the establishment of the 19th King Sejong Institute. Mr. Chen Baodong, Vice President of SAU extended his warm welcome to all the distinguished guests who attended the ceremony and gave a brief introduction to SAU. Mr. Wang Qi, Vice President of SAU also gave priority to the cultural and educational exchanges and cooperation between SAU and SSU. Mr. Chen Yongqing, Dean of College of International Education, SAU hosted the ceremony.
Mr. Liu Fugen, Consul from Korean Consulate General attended the ceremony and gave his speech. “The establishment of Shenyang King Sejong Institute provides a good platform for Chinese people to learn Korean culture and promotes China-Korea friendship”, said Mr. Liu Fugen.
Mr. Chung Byung-Hee, Vice President of Soongsil University (SSU) also extended his congratulations to the establishment of Shenyang King Sejong Institute. Mr. Chong Chinkang, College of International Education, SSU believed that King Sejong Institute would enhance the cooperation between two universities in academic and scientific areas.
