On November 28, 2012, the Social Practice and Science Competition on Energy Saving and Emission Reduction was held in the International Conference Hall of SAU.

All together 26 teams from various colleges of SAU participated in the competition. Represented by Prajwol Lal Shrestha and Varun Viswanath, the College of International Education secured second place among the twenty six teams.

It was the first time that international students took part in the activity with Chinese students in the academic competition field. Since the founding of the College of International Education, it has been constantly focusing on cultivating high quality international students for global aviation industry, and more students are willing to choose SAU as the academic destination.
