In late October, 2012, a splendid concert played by Liaoning Orchestra was held in the Blue Sky Theatre of SAU.

A total number of over 500 audiences from teachers and students including Mr Rui Xiaomiao, Deputy Secretary of SAU and Professor Tong Gang, Vice-President of SAU witnessed this musical feast.

Founded in 1979, Liaoning Orchestra has occupied a crucial role as one of the best and renowned orchestras in China, acclaimed for the quality of its performances and its international reputation through it performances in Korea,Pakistan and Romania as well as other countries.

Through the concert, the education and community outreach is integral to the orchestra’s musical life extending the work of the orchestra into workplaces and communities and universities like SAU.
