On October 18th, the Inauguration Ceremony, Scholarship Awarding Ceremony & Welcome Party for International Students of SAU 2012-2013 was held at the Blue-sky Theatre.
At the beginning of the ceremony, Prof. Wang Qi, Vice-President of SAU, delivered a welcome speech in which he sent his warm and heartfelt wishes to the new students for their new academic lives in SAU. As the representatives of the new students, Al Anisi Ibrahim Ahmed Mohamed from Yemen and Lakovleva Kseniasent from Russia sent their best regards.
In the second part of the ceremony, over 40 students distinguished themselves for their actively participation in group activities and outstanding achievements in their studies.
The ceremony was followed with excellent performances. There were songs, dances, Chinese poem and drawing, which together pushed the celebration to a climax.
