On 27 September, 2012, the ceremony to present the Friendship Award and the Honorary Award for Foreign Experts was held at the Conference Hall of Liaoning Provincial People's Government.

Devinder Yadav from Australia, an aviation expert of SAU won the Friendship Award of Liaoning Province. He was conferred the award by with the Governor of Liaoning Province, Mr. Chen Zhenggao.

Mr. Devinder Yadav expressed his sincere thanks to Liaoning Provincial People's Government and SAU and extended his commitment to the international education of SAU.

Since 2002, there have been 4 foreign teachers from SAU who have  won the award, which is the highest award for foreigners in Liaoning province.
