On June 22nd, 2012, the "French Music Festival" organized by SAU and Alliance France was held at the campus of SAU. Professor Li Haifeng, Vice President of SAU, Mr. Richard Chen, and Dean of the College of International Education attended the party.
Despite a rainy day, the event attracted hundreds of excited fans gathered to enjoy this fabulous night of great music, friendship and enjoyment.
The audience was treated to opening performances a rock band of Indonesian students. The band thrilled all of us with their brilliant guitar work and with the creativity and variety of their music. All of the musicians in both bands are extremely talented, not only musically but in their stage performances as well.

Chinese and other international students also engaged in this music gala. Nigerian students’ singing was wonderfully stirring and rhythmic, and pop dances from students from Sri Lanka and Maldives were truly unforgettable.

The highlight of the night was the performance by the French band; students who came together at the beginning of the semester. They organized the concert to say "merci beaucoup" and "au revoir" to all their friends and hosts at SAU. This is one very talented band; perhaps there is more money to be made as rock stars than as aircraft engineers.

The Night was a very significant event in the international life of the university, uniting students from all nations in warmth and friendship. All gratitudes and congratulations go to all those involved!
